In detail

Change it with a sentence

“Make the bars wider” or “add a total row” makes a new version. Pick an older one from the “Version” menu, and “Make this the newest version” brings it back. “Code” shows what Stedia wrote.

Your figures in the app

An app does not read your connected tools itself. Ask Stedia to fetch the data in chat first, or attach the file, and Stedia puts it into the app. To bring it up to date, ask again.

Shared inside your workspace

Under “Share app” you choose “Can use” or “Can edit” for each person, and “General access” sets the same for everyone. Nobody outside the workspace opens the app, link or not. Only the person who asked for it manages access and can delete it.

It remembers what you enter

An app keeps entries between visits, such as a ticked checklist. It can also ask Stedia to summarise or draft something. The first time, it asks and waits for “Allow”, and the AI use is billed to your workspace.

Keep it and pass it on

“Download app” saves one HTML file that runs in any browser, offline too. “Save as PDF” opens the print dialog. When an app wants to save a file, such as a CSV export, Stedia asks first.

Walled off from everything else

An app runs apart from Stedia and the internet: it cannot read your account, your other files or any website. If it stops with an error, click “Ask to fix”, and Stedia repairs it in chat. Apps are built in web chat.
